Welcome to MHAW Fall ’21

Mental Health Action (formerly Awareness) Week was established by the Purdue Graduate Student Government (PGSG) and the first week was hosted in February 2018. Since then MHAW has become a widely successful initiative on Purdue’s campus. In March 2021, MHAW included over 80 events featuring 30 different student organizations!

PGSG’s Mental Health Action Week for Fall 2021 will take place on October 4-8. Organizers hope the lineup of both in-person and virtual events will facilitate open conversations about mental health issues faced by the graduate student population. The various education, conversation and relaxation events are designed specifically for graduate students, who often work as research assistants, instructors or employees in addition to maintaining their own academic progress.

Graduate students interested in attending an event should RSVP using the links provided on the event titles. Some events will happen in-person while some events will take place via Zoom and recordings of these events will be made available on the respective events page.
